Turn Your OWN Club into a Swing Tempo Trainer

Use SOUND to Improve Your Swing Tempo

Swing Whistle is one of the few swing tempo training aids on the market that allows you to use your own clubs and hit real golf balls to reinforce good timing and tempo. Taking a swing with the Swing Whistle instantly enhances the sound of maximum clubhead speed. The Whistle alerts you when you force clubhead speed using your wrists and hands. A solid golf swing will "Whistle at IMPACT"!

Ever wonder why the tour player swing sounds so good? It's timing and tempo! Swing Whistle will help you identify where you spend power in your swing. As a long time instructor, hearing what a swing sounds like often leads to easier swing fixes. My students often times make their own adjustments based on being made aware of the "release point" of their swing. Swing Whistle Tempo Trainer instantly enhances that sound.

Swing Whistle is a Swing Tempo Trainer that is designed to encourage a more fluid, easy swing, which produces better ball striking, distance and consistency.

Instructions

  • Clip on the narrow part of the shaft and slide down on the hosel as shown
  • Take a swing and listen for the whistle during your downswing
  • Identify WHERE the Whistle occurs

What to listen for from the Swing Whistle

If the whistle starts very early in the downswing, you are forcing the downswing. Hold lag longer and "delay" impact.

If the whistle is faint, you are not lagging the club. Sling the club pulling the grip end at the ball.

If the whistle is long, your swing will lack power. Narrow the focus of the whistle closer to impact.

If the whistle is high pitched, you are most likely over-swing. Slow your arms and relax your grip and wrists to produce a deeper tone.

A golf swing with great timing and tempo will produce a low toned whistle just prior to impact! Take a few practice swings where the Swing Whistle is low toned and close to impact, then hit a ball with the same rhythm. The results will surprise you!

Real Time, Instant Feedback

Swing Whistle replaces the "woosh" drill because you are able to produce the whistle and hit balls at the same time, reinforcing the proper lag and release of the club.

High Speed Swings

For those players with clubhead speed over 90mph, use a 6 or 7 iron to keep Swing Whistle from breaking or coming off your club.
